What would you do if you were me?

after reading all 7 pages i beleive the fault is 100% op. that being said, had i built the box i would have taken the box back(if op paid shipping) and built one that would fit for a small fee. i would have just about broken even. and then sell that box to someone else (discounted). try to make the customer happy. i may be in a better position to the take a hit on a custom box than the builder though. i have a retail business i could resell the original box. but if the builder had not worked it out i still say the op should not have been upset w/ the builder. i don't know who the box builder is but good job on working it out with op. very professional.

 
Poor packaging, taking a month to ship something when he told me a week and miss communication. For the fifteenth time. I'm not a ****ing box builder. All I gave him were measurements of the trunk. It is what it is.
its common sense to measure the opening, so the box will actually fit into the trunk.

its ur negligence that fuk up the box, and 1000% ur fault, not the builders.

i understand that it took awhile to get to u, but he does have a life and shit happens.

It might not have been poor packaging but, the company that shipped it, could have mishandled it which caused the damage to the box.

What was the deal u guys worked out now>?

 
To answer some questions. It's between me and builder what was worked out. Even if I took out the back seats it wouldn't make a bit of difference.

 
I think the funniest thing is how, after the OP realizes that NOBODY agrees with him, that he now feels he has to complain about the packaging/shipping. If I was the builder, I'd tell you to take your business elsewhere. You don't CUSTOM order a product, have it built to YOUR specs, and then threaten a chargeback because YOU don't know how to use a tape measure. Where are the mods on this forum when you need one?
