What would YOU do?(components vs alt)

Ok here's the deal. In my basement right now I have a set of unopened d6 5.25" components and a 200amp ohio generator alternator from my monte carlo...

Now what would you do...

Drop $150 send the alternator to OG, have them tune, it put a new reg on, and new plates for my new car(grand prix).. and use the d6 components(properly installed of course, fiberglass pods to old them then the door sealed off with deadening)...

Try and sell the d6's for maybe 100bucks and add the 150 from the alt and get a better set of components...

What? The alternator from a GP and a Monte should be interchangable. Should be a bolt-in.

The monte was a 3100 and the grand prix is a 3800... they use different plates.

And to the 06er... i'm not just putting in components.

use the alt. the d6's sound ok. you can upgrade later on, and you will have power in store for it.

alt and D6 FTW, 1st you dont want to go without an alt. and 2nd you can change the comp set another time

I swear some of the people on this site are complete ****ing retards. And you are one of them. Did you also read I said it needs a new REGULATOR also? Alternator housings are called plates you idiot. n00bs i tell ya.
