Probably that it doesn't do a whole lot of power below rated voltage...you'd need a pretty constant voltage level to get the most out of it.
But then again, I've never used a "Catchfire" amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the crossfire makes rated power at 12.5 volts. i've used a vr2000D and it was an awesome amp. probably the most efficient amp out of the bunch, makess rated power at 12.5 volts. birth sheets i've seen on the crossfire are around 2300-2400 watts rms. my choice would be between the orion and crossfire. it really depends what you are powering. the orion has the most power and can handle a half ohm impedence. if you need 2000 watts at 2 ohms, i say crossfire, if 2000 watts at 1 ohm i say orion.
