Orion 2500d-dependable, proven stable to .5ohm daily

Crossfire VR2000D-I have never use but I hear really great things on this amp,

Viper D2500.1-decent, internals look well planned and beefy. Only 2ohm stable. I remember reading ScottyJ talking about them, ebelive that he said the amp wasnt stable

Directed 2400d-basically the viper, dont know the specs, dont really care to.

I would have to say either the crossfire or the orion.......A local caraudio shop, actually the one alpine installer works at, used to sell crossfire products and a previous owner had a comp. vehicle with only crossfire audio in it. I must say those are some dependable amps. And orion they have always been strong and reliable amplifiers. The other two are also very good amps too.

im not much of a 2004+ dei fan as far as amplifiers go (orion falls into that as well)

i would go with the crossfire just for that reason.

i went with the orion because there hard working and dependable, the crossfire is great but to picky, they are very needy amps. As for the other two i dont know.

Probably that it doesn't do a whole lot of power below rated voltage...you'd need a pretty constant voltage level to get the most out of it.

But then again, I've never used a "Catchfire" amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Probly the 2500d for reasons above, plus thats the only one I used. I was going to go with the directed but got the h2 d2. So I guess it also depends on what subs.

dont forget Mmats,Memphis,and US Amps - all of which I think are better than the above mentioned

well crossfire is a lil ahead of memphis. Cus memphis is has its stupid fuses on the bottom of the amp. Which means you have to demount the amp to change the fuses. BUt i would go with crossfire. THey are solid amps.

Orion or Viper. But probably the Orion because it is 1 ohm stable. But i had to mention Viper because i have 2 1200's and they are awesome amps i have had these amps for years so they are dependable. But no matter what out of them you will get what it says and more the Crossfire is probably the most underrated but also the most expensive. The others can be had pretty cheap.
