what would sound better?

Why wait to upgrade? Why not just get a setup that you will really like now?
i think it's just the fact that he wants bump now but doesn't have the cash. And obviously he doesn't wanna save up for it cuz that might take too long. I've been there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

because i wont have money to upgrade for a very longggg time after the setup i just installed (amp, comps, rear fill, sound deadened entire car). cant work as much now with school and thanks to school i owe citibank quite a bit of money on my cc. i just want something id be satisfied with for now til prolly next spring haha

i can get a 10 inch typer new from bestbuy with my friends discount for 95 but from what i've read it wont move or sound good with 205watts rms

I think it would sound better than the S, plus if you ever upgrade, you can just upgrade the amp rather than get a sub suited for the amp you have now, that you probably wont keep. Leading you to have no use for neither the amp or sub IMO

look into the rl-i it is a very similar to what you are looking for and from the reviews ive read about the subs you have mentioned and reviews of the rl-i....the soundsplinter wins

Honestly i think cvr's sound better than type-s'.

You could get it to sound better depending on the box also. Neither are really meant to be sq'ish, but if you set it up right you'd prolly be ok.

W/e you do tho, the type s is a complete budget sub, kind of like the cvr, but i've seen some decent cvr setups as opposed to type s.
