what would sound better?

so im mostly looking for SQ but still a decent thump. i have a .85-.9 cu sealed enclosure for a single 10". looking at the kicker 10" cvr or the alpine type-s 2x2ohm. amp only does 4ohms at 205watts RMS so what would sound better with this? the kicker can be had locally for 79 and the type-s for 89 so im wondering what i should go with. thanks!

but rail's right, both of those would be terrible for SQ. Do u have to constraint urself to such a tight budget tho?

Go with the phoenix gold RSD if your on a budget but you might have to get a bigger box, I would have to check.

well if you had to decide what would be the better decision? ive heard the type-s and i like the way it sounds...just trying to replace my blown sub right now and may upgrade in the future. i do have a small budget as of now...id love the PG rsd, im loving the comp set from them so i bet the sub would sound just as great...but the ones ive found locally all want 120+ when the freaking sub is a few years old! dont wanna wait for shipping either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yea...just ive been doing alot of searching and read alot of people like the CVR over the type-s. personally never heard the CVR but you guys have pointed me in the right direction for my comps so i was interested in everyones opinion here.

most of the ppl here tend to like SPL oriented subs, which would be the CVR, of course i highly doubt the type-s is SQ either. I'd say search around for the RSD on ebay
