What would it take to beat 4W7s??? Ramos, Bassma, Audiolife, Jlaine, JLman, Ranger???

Well first I guess I should ask you if you're gonna run a subsonic filter, and what are you trying to get out of this box? SQ/SPL? Both?

Subsonic filter...I am not going to be using the 1200.1, I am gonna either a Crossfire 2000D or 2 bd1500s I am looking for an SPL/SQ mix.

I played around with it a little, and the box I came up for 2 XXX 12's with 3/4" material using the provided dimensions was 5.3 cubes net tuned to 38hz. Port - 4" x 13" and 16 inches deep. 4.6 cubes after port and woofer displacements without including bracing. That box seemed to perform pretty well on Bass Box, but I'm gonna play around with it a little more and see if I can find better. You might want to also consider an interchangable port, or a port plug. That way you could tune it high for comps, and lower for daily driving. Just a thought.

could someone help me with a box. I wanna try to get as much space as i can out of my trunk. the dimensions are 32x32x16. but the wheel wells get in the way, and after 15 inches, they're gone and my trunk's width extends to 51 inches. and just incase the wheel well dimensions are needed they're about 15x11x12. all my dimensions go length x width x height, just incase i had them in the wrong order. if anyone wants to help out, thanks

Using the information off of RE's site...

Single 12"

Best SQ alignment:

1.6 cubic feet tuned to 30hz using single 4" vent 21" long, try to use flared ends, at higher output levels this is going to chuff like a madman.

System F3, 27.5hz, flat response.

SQ/SPL Mixture

1.6 cubic feet tuned to 37hz, using single 4" vent 12.6" long

System F3 31.25hz, 3db spike @ 45hz

SPL Output only (geared ONLY for your vehicle, we went after your resonant frequency)

3 cubic feet tuned to 48 hz, 2 4" vents 7" long

System F3 not worth noting, 9.25dB spike @ 50hz

My reasoning behind the first two is that you can use pluggable ports, and change from your solely SQ alignment to your mixture in a heartbeat.

I'm assuming you'll use a divider for your two subs, so they'll be separated airspaces, so just double the box requirements.

All alignments do not include driver and port displacement, add it when you are doing the building...

Ok 4 JL 12W7 subwoofers weighs almost 200 pounds. The proper enclosure for these subs would be another 200 pounds. Hauling a 500+ lbs stereo system around every day will make your ride slow and ruin your engine within a year. If you change the oil frequently and avoid driving with passengers, it might last 2 years. If you want to beat the guy, race him on the freeway. I'm not black, but I do understand what they do to minorities. I have quite a few black friends. I can't even go visit them in the hood, without being pulled over and searched. They figure, a white man in the hood, he must be buying. Anyhow, I have heard how minorities are treated by the police. Unfortunately there is not much that can be done about it, because it is a personal conflict, and the person has to change there views, before things can be corrected.

O.k. On to the subject at hand, Indosia why do you think you need $10,000 to beat 4 12" JLw7's? I bet you wouldn't need half of that. I would even be willing to guarantee it can be done for less than $3000. Since when does driving around with an extra 500 lbs, destroy your vehicle within a year or 2 years at that? I'm assuming that you aren't mechanically inclined, because that is not true at all.
