What would it take to beat 4W7s??? Ramos, Bassma, Audiolife, Jlaine, JLman, Ranger???

I need a smaller enclosure for 2 12s, with high SPL numbers and moderate sq. Going in the back of a Toyota 4Runner. Thanks for the help.

Give me some dimensions of what space you have to work with, and I'll run it through Bass Box Pro and see what I can do as well.

You mean an opinionated statement, as I said before argueing over subs is pointless. If you like it, that is all that matters. On the other hand, if the sub does not handle what it says it can handle or if it flat out fails, then that is a different story, but as far as SQ goes, there is no real winner when comaring SQ subs. As far as the SPL goes, I've been in cars that were metered in the 150's, and I've been in cars metered in the low 140's, and some of those 140's have sounded louder than the 150's. It all depends on the person, that is why so many car audio companies make huge profits. Not only on subs, but amps, and everything down to the wire. You know as well as I know, that wire is wire, yet people still buy the expensive name brand stuff. It's all in our head. We are all going crazy.

It'll fit with the back seats out...but I'm not sure what the wife will think about that. It will be ported. I usually don't like ported boxes, but it is the way to go this time. Try this 52 x 15 x 15. i'm measuring from all angles here...

Thats probably more like it..about 5.33 cubes. 52 inches wide will fit back there? How about between the wheel wells?

Im going long instead of wide. Just a guesstimate, my 4Runner is at the paint shop. The wheelwells are no problem.
