Retail? The 12W7's retail anywhere from $24-2600. Ha, even 2000 isn't that hard considering you said output capabilities ....Strokers, DD 95 series, CMPx2's, Shocker Extremes, L7's, Brahma's, the list goes on and on

we had 2 15's doing 168.9 in a extended cab ranger =) was far less than 2 w7's box was 22 cubic feet with a large very large port

I would not go up against 4 12 w7s with any of those cheap brands. JL speakers are built to last. They will handle way more power than kicker L7s. I owned 2 12 w6s scince 95.

cheap? you on crack? do pray tell us why the w7 is so great? come on what has it won? side by side the idmax sounds better almost same output (heard both) and a brahma which sounds about the same in lower octive output still produces music unlike the w7 which imo is just a hometheater sub. sq wise a blueprint can do more than hold its own with a w7 and in the propper box whip it in spl

4000 watts = $4000. I could get 4000+ watts for less than $1500. Very easily just check into the JBL1200.1, that would be $300 a piece, times 4 which would give you $1200 and 4800 watts of pure power. As for the output of the W7, I've only heard one, but could guarantee that it can be beat in SPL with a woofer probably 2-3 times less than the W7's cost. Sorry, but you are wrong again, and as I said before 500 lbs, will not cause a drastic effect on a cars engine. Of course, the more weight you add, the less mpg you get, but that is common sense.

Don't get all upset because you can't afford quality speakers. I can't either. So maybe $1500 is enough to beat 4 12 w7s. but $2000 would beat them worse. What leads you to belive a kicker L7 will handle the same power as a w7. Have you ever owned a JL speaker? You mentioned like 5 different brands. How long did ecah one of these brands last before you had to buy the next one. Iv'e had my JL since 1995. If he takes your guys advice and tries to beat that bmw with $3000 he will look like a foul.

The only kicker L7's I seen were in my friends trunk hooked up to a phoenix gold titanium amp, until they blew as soon as soon as he turned it up... Well thats what happens when you do not know what you are doing. Maybe if you could stop swinging on Manville Smith's nuts and ballsack for a minute, you would have got a chance to see some properly installed L7's. But hey, the rich fall in for big names and flashy advertising, and the poor just keep buying quality products, regardless of the name.

ok between my deck (1200.00) my processor(1000.00) my cables (500.00) my speakers (1300.00) my amps (1200.00) my alternator (900.00) does it look like i can afford them? hmmm i mean i still have 6 12" oz subs sittin in my closet with 2 sets of the highest end hlcd's image dynamics made. and i have had 6 year old subs before but mine i think prolly gathered a lil more gold in their life time than most...took second at iasca and usac world finals, 4th at SBN 2nd at iasca triple point regional....over 30 first place trophies in 1 yr and yes i beat jl subs...not a bad driver but not hardly worth the $$$ when in mho there is better. you say l7's are junk hehe i bet you never heard a propper set right now as am typin im puttin a little show on for my neighbors while i break in my subs in my garage
