what would i need?

so ok guys i been trying to get a box but shipping is a *****...too much $$$$$....haha..so i finally decided to build my own...what are the materials im gona need?..i know wood of course..haha..also a jig saw...to start off im gona build a sealed box and see how it comes out...maybe later ill build a ported one...when i get enough practice...any other advice ill take also...thanks!

youll need clamps and silicone, wood filler or something to seal the box up

if you dont already have all the tools or if ur not good at woodwork., its going to get costly and be very frustrating.

3/4" MDF, Titebond ll wood glue, Brad Nailer, Silicone, Table Saw, screws, jigsaw, t-square, clamps....etc etc....

would the jig saw work for cutting wood and holes?

Yeah, the jig saw will work for cutting the holes for the subs. Well, its pretty much the only thing that will work, but you need a nice table saw to get anything cut square. You need those joints tight!

Or you could just get all the wood cut when you go and buy the wood. Glue, screw and cut the holes for the subs and bingo.

if you have someone cut it for you then yes.. sometimes places will cut you what you need as long as you take linear pieces.. meaning.. all the way across..
