What would I need to do to increase the tune?

Box is 2.5ft^3 net tuned to 33hz with 40.5 in^2 of port.

15"h x 34"w x 16"d outer dimensions.

I heard about adding blocks in the corners of the box to increase tuning... What would I do to make it 38hz? Cutting is not an option, box is already built.

Making the enclosure smaller is the best option to raise the tuning frequency.

If your enclosure looks something like this on the inside, you can add the 45* angle pieces with these dimensions to bring the enclosure to about 1.9 cubic feet and it will tune it to around 38hz.

1 or 2 HDC312's?
1, and to m1strass: i haven't tried the box yet, but I may like it, who knows? I was just told for the music I listen to (mainly bass-heavy rap) that 38hz would be the best, and 33hz would sound like utter crap.

I think you may need to sell this box and go for 2.5 at 40hz or 42hz.

I guess it would be impossible to use a dremel and try to remove some

of port piece B (I've never tried that).
