hm. my car won't stall unless i dump the clutch with no gas. i can coast and my idle will push my car along without it stalling. i was just curious because the few times that i've tried to start it while it was in gear, as soon as it lunges, i realize that i need to stop trying to start it and never did it for long enough to see if it would start.Depending on how its geared, Cars that can take off from working the clutch with no gas will. cars on a flat or small decline can.

Talking about a manual car.
I ask because I'm thinking of using the parking brake as a safety switch for a remote start. I can't get a neutral safety but I can get a parking brake safety. Looking to know what would happen to see if it's worth it.
