I don't know much fyi.

I plan on getting:

1 15'' rockford fosgate punch p3d215

1 10'' rockford fosgate punch p3d210

1 2600watt power acoustic amp.

what all will i need to get it all hooked up. 2ohms im guessing? will i need a new alternator or a capacitor? new battery?

yes i like 10s for the lows and 15 for the highs. but then again its all about the box and thats not a problem for me. so please fill me in of what ill need to put that together or if i should go with a different amp which im guessing i should.

stick one one size sub. i ran power acoustik amps and they are ok. don't think they do rated power.

no cap. do the big3 first.

its the other way around but stick with one sub. If you want the highs and lows go with a sealed box. If you just want it to be really loud go with a ported box.

not trying to be a dick, but i suggest doing a lot of reading (mainly the stickys) on this forum before you go out purchasing anything.

eh my friend gave me a system which included a 15'' punch p2, a 10'' audiobahn, and some amp (i dont remember the name) thats 500 watts and i bridged it to 1000 watts with a sealed box which hit hard. i do read sometimes but i get confused and i'd rather have people just reccommend me good stuff but yet not stuff i dont need. i want basically the same setup but of rockford fosgate brand. im the type of person who needs music to drive with otherwise i go crazy so i need just this for now until i learn my stuff and then once im experienced enough and have money i plan on upgrading to 2 fi 12's and all that fun stuff. as for now, my budget is around 500-600$ but being i somehow blew every single speaker including my subs im going to need to get all new door panel speakers and 6x9's for the back which will probably run 200.

eh i just re-read everything. i guess sticking to 1 size would be a smart thing to do. anyone know if i could get a whole system including just 1 15'' for like 600$ total pretty much? i drive an 02 grand am, im aiming for something with alot of kick and something that wont require too much power (upgrade alternator). i hear capacitors arent any good. so maybe upgrade my battery and run alot of power of just that. i probably sound so stupid to you experienced people.
