What will gas prices be by 2009?

I am hoping cheap fuel prices don't cause a return to ineffeciency. I still stand by my $4 vote. It all depends on whether or not we contine to take steps to reduce demand, or we think "woot! gas is $1.xx again so we can throw all oot conservation tactics out the window."

I hope fuel prices go back up to make shipping imported product expensive again to level the playing field for domestic product.

I don't drive that much, 4 dollar gas didn't bother me.

It is nice not to pay at the pump right now, but IMO shows you the shit mess we are in.

It will eventually go up sometime in 2009, but I see it not getting much higher than 3 dollars a gallon, maybe 3.50 and that is where we will stay for some time.

I wish it would stay where it is, because unlike Duece, I do drive a lot, but I understand where you are coming from. There is always a lesser of two evils.
