What Volt-Meter are you using?

Since I'm permanently paranoid that my voltage is dropping below a healthy limit, I desided to get myself a nice looking volt meter which I would like to permanently install somewhere in the dash.

I'd like to keep it OEM-like as possible, so no junky big LED display.

I'm wondering what you are using, where you installed your meter.....

I've seen somewhere a volt meter somehow integrated into the rear view mirror, it looked pretty sweet....unfortunately I can't find it anywhere anymore.

What do you think about these cigarette lighter plug in meters which are all over the place at ebay and such?

cig lighter meter has never let me down and you can get them at walmart in the battery dept. for 15 bucks

I like the stinger one, but it's quite bright and not factory looking but it works great.

As you said, it does not look like OEM but it brought me to another idea.

I have my amp remote knob in my ashtray, there is some space left for a volt meter....if I dont want to see it, I just close the ashtray....

I have to look for something a little smaller to fit in there but the general style of the Stinger would be a good fit.

Wow, THAT thing looks sweet.....good taste right there. If my ashtray solution does not work I'll see if I find some space in the dash for one of these round analog meters.
