Can anyone recomend a box for 2 Alpine type R DVC subs. I am looking for SPL. They will be powered by a JBL 1200.1 amp in the trunk of a jetta IV. Thanks

PS. any wiring tips? The subs are 1000w peak and 300rms and the amp is 1200x1 at 2ohm, 600x1 at 4ohm.

I have sealed only cuz i dont have alot of space but bandpass is for the best spl sealed for sq and ported some say is a good mix of both but I HATE ported although uncommon so i havent heard to many installs i think they arent as common due to the sound.

I would just go with a ported box tuned from 32 hz. - 35 hz.

If you want something weather resistant, get a marine amplifier.
