I have 2 type R's on the way and i ordered a crunch 1000 by 4 amp but i got it and it says 125x4 what the hell!? Anyway Where can i mount my amp in my firebird not to the box or on the back hatch to be stolen wont fit under my seat and dont want it stolen!

with my bro-in-law's old set-up in his 86 'bird we put the amp down in the bottom of the hatch. it couldn't really be seen and stayed fairly cool(old targa amp) his new stuff, the amp is on the box sitting on top of the hatch hump, subs firing at the glass. he installed a louver to hide it. sumbit@$ rattles like hell on the outside and is so loud on the inside you can't hear anything. these cars are great for spl,but you are kinda limited where to put stuff. anyway..good luck w/ yours
