What type of amp and how to connect? And a few other questions?

I have a Clarion CZ702 which has 3 active modes (normal, 2 way, and 3 way), and I've just purchased these JBL components, GTO608C | 6-½" two-way component speaker system | JBL US. I'm going to stay with my factory rear speakers for now. I have a few questions.

What type of amp should I get (2 or 4 channel)?

Active, passive? I don't really understand this yet.

How do I connect everything, or could you point me to where I can read up on it.

Also, what is the best placement for the 1 inch tweeter, down by the 6.5 inch component, or up high on the door or dash?

Could someone also look at pages 21 and 22 from my head unit's manual? What would I use with my setup? Normal, 2 way, or 3 way?
