What to look for in a new battery (specs)?

Looking to upgrade the battery in the engine bay , idk if I should be looking at the cold cranking amps or what , any input. Guys ?

100 ah or more and the most max amps you can get. i use the odyssey pc 2150 myself

looking at the xs power battery for kicks and it said 12v or 14v, is there quite a difference ? i would think you would need the 12v if its going to be used in the engine bay correct?

actually you can use the 14 volt as a starter battery as well

What exactly do you mean charge ? won't be for competition but for a daily application if that helps any lol.

Well typically a 12 volt battery rests around 12.8~13ish, and 14 volt batteries rest over 15 volts, so unless your alternator is charging that high, the battery will not be fully charged ever.
