What to get?

This would point to equipment failure, because he'd have to have over 1,000W of power to draw more than 100A. Factoring in the low efficiency of amplifiers that's nearly impossible under normal operating conditions with his system configuration.
i stated if i turn it up more it blows, ( obviously due to current ), im no pro or anything.

i also stated id be upgrading in the future ( 250a fuse , 0 awg into 2 4s for speaker amp and sub amp.

at this moment i have my subs and 1 amp.

i want to upgrade my speakers for now (unamped, until i get one(which should probably be after i updrage my wiring and fuse holder))

i want something loud ( that i can hear over my bass ) and clear at the same time?

i dont know what more you want to know.

The problem with this scenario is, again, your amplifier cannot possibly draw enough current to pop a 100a fuse unless there is a problem. You might be clipping the amp so badly it can't be clipped any more. Upgrading to larger wire and a bigger fuse is not the solution, but it is a good idea if you add another amplifier. This is a good time to take the vehicle to a reputable installer to have it properly set up.

[quote name='>>SQL

85% efficient

that would be apx 147 amps draw at full tilt @ 12 volts

Why are you saying he should not be blowing his 100 amp fuse?[/quote']

He would have come in here stating his lights are dimming like crazy and "how do I fix that?". His car should have a 105 amp factory alternator. Tell me how that can support his amplifier plus run the car?

[quote name='>>SQL

He is running his subs at 1 ohm

That is 1' date='500 watts

I remember reading his build a while back

Perhaps his lights are dimming like h3ll, IDK[/quote']

my lights do dim, when my volume is 38-39, i turn it down to 35 or 36 and its usually gone, and i have the big 3.

i just dont get why im getting all these useless posts that have nothing to do with upgrading speakers, i mean i appreciate it, but i havent done anything incorrectly as ive had alot of help from here already getting where im at.

so if someone could answer my initial question that would be great thanks.

You need to have a better idea what you want from your front stage. Along with a budget or price range. What people like is very subjective. Right now every speaker would fit with your guide lines.
