What % tint do you guys prefer?

5% over 20% on the rest

Can I ask why you didnt just go with whatever the darkest tint you can get instead of doing 5 over 20

Because 5% was the darkest I could get.

Correct. That is why I have just 5% on the front driver and passanger windows because the factory didn't tint those.

35% does reduce some visibility at night. Chinny has 50% on his and during the day it seems pretty clear. Haven't been in it at night.

thats weird because I have 50% on my front windows and they seem alot darker than that one pic of the expedition with 35% on the windshield. Maybe its just the pic?

Another thing, with my tint, I cannot tell the difference in darkness from the inside. So the visibility out of my 50% up front compared to the 5% in the back is just about the same. But on the outside theres a big difference because you really can see into the back through the 5% and see quite a bit through the 50%. Just something to think about...

i LIKE 15-20 all around except for the windsheild. I have 28% on the sides and 25 on top of stock on the backs on my truck for legal reasons (in FL 28% is the maximum allowed)

Ive never been checked untill i got pulled over by the FHP just this past week for 56 in a 45 (didnt know they could clock you when headiing in the opposite direction) and sound violation (didnt know i was loud enough to be heard by traffic going in the opposite direction with my windows up)... he went ahead and checked my windows and i was right on the money. Luckely he didnt write me a ticket for anything.

and im not scrrrd, im 16 and that $75 ticket + $20 to have it stripped properly can be spent better elsewhere.
