What the hell does this thing in my trunk do?!!?

It is to equalize the air pressure in your car so the doors and trunk lid close properly.

Ever tried to close a car door and you can feel the air pressure and the door kind of pops back and not close completely?

Don't block it or you will notice you need to slam your doors or trunk to close them.

if your car is air tight the heater and ac blower will not work as well either
