What temperature is "too cold" to bump??

I always hear its bad for your subs to bump in cold weather, but whats too cold? I live in Minnesota so it gets pretty **** cold. What you guys think?

the sub itself warms up and generates heat on its own by being used so what are you worried about?

Obviously anything around 40 and below. I've seen Aluminum cones crack. Just warm them up for a bit before you crank them up.

Haha...I always read these threads because I live in Michigan which isnt the warmest of places. I keep seeing a lot of people say they bump no matter what temperature it is but I just dont like doing it, so I just wait maybe like 1 song with it low/medium volume then I dont care. People also think that sometimes their system isnt as loud as if it was warmer and I have always agreed because my two Rockford T1's arent as loud in the cold. But then in my other vehicle I have two FI BL's and they sound the same no matter what...so I'm thinking maybe since the RF's are an aluminum or some kind of metal cone maybe thats a difference I really dont know why tho.

I actually thought about how you could make a heater for a box to keep your subs comfortable though lol.

teens or below is pretty hard on my system. I usually let it warm up and then the speakers sound better, but make sure you get your car warm before you bump.
