matts f150 8 DD2500 15s build on 5k doing a whopping 146 is my opinion
625 watts a sub.... they need 1500 to come alive... Besides i didnt know he was looking for a burp box, this thing will sound great daily and at shows.

Exactly a design that was an absolute fail, you can put just about any woofer into alan dantes vehicle and get a 170+ if your looking for quality that will last and sound amazing with absolutely 0 mechanical noise, the 2500 series is where its at in a fourth order.

Ive done a 150 in a trunk car with 1 15 on 3000 watts with a box tuned to 38hz, couldnt have been the equipment or the setup though....

You say the 2512 does good fourth ordered how bout the ten and why is it that dd doesnt recommend this sub to be sealed if it does good in fourth orders it should do decent sealed yet mine hates anything lower than 38 hz ported. sealed I can get nothing out of it. Any proven designs you could link to. I'm not knocking you I'd like to try it if I could get a few other f
