Got alittle noise in my system--loc ?

Im using a pac trunk loc with my factory premium system..Problem is there is alittle alt whine (1/10) and when i shut of the system off my subs make a slight thump noise. The pac is grounded to the factory amps ground wich prob isnt that good.Through all sorts of harnesses and whatnot. Question is can i just ground the rca's from the loc to amp rca's and use my sub amp gound (to frame). I heard you might have to fuse it..I've used a pac noise canceler but it didnt do anything.

Did this with my pioneer 860mp (ground rca's to back of h/u) and it was fine but that was the h/u.

i would unground the LOC. It doesnt have to be grounded to work

normally LOC's haver a decently high "preout" voltage...turn your gain down just a hair and see if it gets rid of it

if i adjust the loc it doesnt affect the "thump". Its only effected when i change the gain on my amp. and only goes away if i have the gain all the way down.

The int speakers didnt start getting alittle feedback till after i installed the sub amp and loc.

And why wouldnt it need a ground Nate?

Just an update...I ran a wire to a switched 12v from the remote on the amp and the "thump" at turn off is gone. I just hooked it up to my "add a curcuit" or whatever it is that i hook all my accesories to.(gps, radar,ect hardwired).Just a fyi for those that might experience the same poroblem.
