what subs to use

hi guys,

i'm having this delema on which subs (size and brand) to use....cause i just purchase a rockford fosgate punch 60 (2X30W) amplifier.......

i was planning to buy a 1pc 10" subs and using this amp....is this alright...cause i wanna maximize my amplifier and i wanna set up thats really booming...if its possible.....with this amp...tnx in advance

by the way, my current set up is an alpine head 4X30W, boston acoustic separates 6.5 inches and a pioneer 6X9 rear speaker....

how about a bandpass set up? or is sealed enclosure still the best? considering i will only have one 10" sub.....tnx again....

and is this a band pass set up? (see pic below)

that setup is just plain ported and would sound good but for a first system to play around with a single type s 12 will keep most people happy unless they have heard better adn have a ton of dough to spend but a simple sealed 1.3 cubic feet box fro a single type s 12 is just awesome just make sure it is the sws-1241 and not sws1240 and the 1240 is known to snap tinsell leads quick and bad other than that go for it and get what sounds good to you and have funn and stay on here and keep learning
