It would do fine on 2000 I think...the lms-r? how would a lms ultra do on the dc2k would it be enough for it? i seen on youtube twisted put a lanzer 6000 on one 18
hmm i thought there would be more replys to this thread.
ya my level 3 12s are pretty decent for output but are just not cuttin it for me, and are getting stinky off my 2k. i know 2 15s would give me what im lookin for and probably more then i want. so i kinda figured a single 18 would give me what im looking for. i want good sq but i want it to get down and dirty too and hammer the lows. as for budget i would like to keep it under 800 with shipping, and shipping is usually pretty pricey since im in canada. Two 15s is more cone area than the single 18, so if you're going for loudness the two 15s is probably your best bet. At that point it comes down to budget and personal preference. There are SO many possibilities for 15" woofers around 1k RMS. 2k is about the minimum acceptable power for a LMS ultra, but the ultra is an OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive woofer. It's great for SQ, but if you aren't a SQ fanatic it's probably not worth it. For the price of the ultra, you could buy four other woofers.
