I have a silverado crew cab and im on a budget built. I already installed 4 pioneer 2 way speakers on my truck just for voice, but I still need my voice amp. I bought myself a fosgate 150hd for my 2 subs. What subs should i get to go along with the fosgate? I can get 2 brand new 12" cvr kickers for 140.

p.s- i posted this exact question in a wrong section. srry

Uhhh ohhhh, get ready for the Kicker hater responses. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

Anyhow, 2 new CompVRs for $140 is a really good deal if you ask me. I personally am very happy with my ported CompR 12 on 350watts.

For trucks like that its better for a 8" in a custom ported than throwing 12s in a crammed sealed. What year solverado? Im in LA too and we got a local box builder in the oc that does some sick work for a hell of a price. Hes CSCStang on here.

Kicker is pretty good lil over priced but if u do your shopping you find good deals on them I had two 15 inch classic solos that pound like crazy when I was alot younger
two kickers 15's "pounding" back then is nothing compared to two high end 15's today... If you kicker lovers wanna hear something loud that sounds good you should hit up some members on here for a demo..

Nah I'm good don't need too but thanx anyhow ! Like I said when I was younger and was all into spl for myself you was probably in diaper then or your dad nut , I know there are better subs I was just talking to this man about his set up I thought that is what this site was about not to bash every comment someone has to say about what there using if it makes them happy who care what other ppl think just saying

Jbl cs1214's are decent in 1 cube sealed each for a budget sub. Have a really soft suspension and a tiny double stack motor that allows them to sound pretty good for what they are. They are really pricey though but do good on low power. I think you can find them for 45-50 bucks each on ebay. I have some but it wouldn't be worth me selling after shipping.

only reason people bash is because in hindsight they are really trying to help said person get better equipment for their listening pleasure.it doesnt have to be just spl to have great shaking lows.idc who you are,if you like cvr's,then you could care less about great quality sound.dont like sound advice ?...lol.then why in the hell are you on a audio forum ?

That's cool I wasn't just referring to one person. Just saying ppl have only certain amount of money to spend on audio they get what they can afford or what sounds good for there needs it just seems if it don't cost 500 or more it not worth messing with that is what I'm getting at sorry for earlier comment my bad

You coming on here not knowing what you're saying helps nobody. Go cry in the corner with your old "pounding" kickers. Op can get have an all around better system with a nice 8 or two than he would with those kickers in a prefab box. Kicker is not good compared to what he could have so by you coming on saying "kicker is good" Doesn't one bit help him with better options than the kicker subs which is basically what he's asking... By the way learn to quote somebody when you reply to them lol

As for @prmnt what year Silverado do you have? it will better help us help you decide what to get based on your space. Are you trying to go under the seat only or throwing a box on top of the seat? What is your budget for subs as well? This will all help us help you bud!
