Pretty much any sub in a ported enclosure tuned around 35-38 ish will peak around 38-40 depending on your car's cabin characteristics.

Simply put, there is no single sub that is going to guarantee high numbers in the 38-40 range. It will be a combination of your sub choice, box tuning, amp power, and box size that dictates how loud you'll be at a given frequency.

Type X's have alot of output under around that range, they really not that impressive +50hz, but the lows are insane
