Looks like a tinsel lead to me. You could probably just solder it back together and heat shrink it up.

And why is only 1 coil hooked up?

Yea u can try to fix it as said. But it wont last forever. If it does break again, u can always just use one coil. I've done that many times and been fine.

it looks like it broke in the middle so you should be able to strip some of the shielding back on both ends and solder it back together. and if you can find a small enough piece of shrink wrap to cover it up. should last you a little while and hold up on only 200rms
