This topic has been covered a hundered times on a thousand fourms, puckering is inherit to high roll butyl based surrounds and is a normal mechanical attribute of the substance. When the surround extends to its excursion limit and then returns inward, the material has nowhere to go so it deforms a bit. This limitedly effects linearity of the driver cone and causes little to no added distortion. The fact that your even questioning it (or more so pointing it out) clearly displays your lack of materials application background. Which moves me to beleive you've never even owned a sub that shared similar properties, which also suggests that probably you shouldnt be commenting on something you have just publiclly proven that you know little about.
