What sub would be good for me?

I have a '99 WS6, and I'm about to get a sub. I don't care about showing off or competitions or anything. I plainly just want more bass. I want something with tight suspension so i had a tight kick. Idc how LOUD it is, quality is what i want. What would be a good 10" that I could have a custom box made for to put in my cargo bay?

Image Dynamics IDQ10 or ID10

SSa Icon 10

Fi Q 10

Diamond Audio D6 10

JBL W10GTi

Much of the sound is going to come from the enclosure that the sub you choose is placed in, this will greatly affect if the sub sound sloppy or tight. Find something you like and then look long and hard into the box volume and tuning if you go ported. Should be a good amount of volume if you plan on using the sump in the very back of the cargo area.

First, you might not want a driver with a tight suspension. Tight suspensions do not = a tight sounding driver.

With a modest 300 watt power handling rating, the CSS SDX10 might be something to look into. http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=SDX10 It's also cleaner and more detailed than the 11ov.2 ever thought about being. With more stable linear stroke than the 11ov.2, it's one of the finest 10" subwoofers out there when it comes to a fairly small enclosure, low frequency extension, and lower power handling (when I say lower, I mean for the typical car audio crowd).
