I found this picture on a different forum and when I went back to find it, the post was gone.. All I know is that it is a 10" sub that weighs over 70 pounds (according to the post)...... So, what is it ??

Actually, it is possible for it to be a one way movement sub. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Or it likes to move in one way more than the other. Good common example of this is the L7 series from Kicker. They had more outward movement than inward movement, which is indicated by the natural resting spot of the coil, and if you take the spiders off, it is more stiff one way compared to the other. (Not sure about the L5s, never felt I should even be messing with them.)

Edit: After a quick glance, there is a coil. Look on the right side of the coil former. Above where the motor is, there is a voice coil. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I was right, if that is the actual top plate. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It must have been a really quick glance my friend because there is no former. You can see right through the vents straight to the other side. Take notice of the leads which are not soldered to any terminals. Also notice the lack of glue where the spider sits on the landing. This is a mock set-up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

****, my eyes. xD It can really look like a former there, a white former. xD The middle vent gives it away.

It was a quick glance indeed.

I think this is a DC Lvl 4 10" Someone was lying about weight to look special. (Not OP, but what he heard.)

There is a 10" Lvl 5, but you have to convince Rusty or something. xD The monster 10" obsession tread.

looks like a dc lvl 4xl but thats only like 53ish pounds. Or a lvl 5 but they dont have lvl 5 10's unless someone got creative
I also thought that it might be a DC 10" Level 5 but, then I looked at the two pictures and the top plates look different and the mags look a little thicker on this sub. Maybe it could be a DC prototype or something ?? Here is a pic of the Level 5 10 to compare to..
