what size wire is on this sub? sq hdc3.115 ?

i see theirs wire on this sub anybody know what size wire it is ?

and do you use a butt connector to connect your wire to it ?

8 gauge ...i use brass bolts and connect with ring terminals insude then ring terminals with a wingnut on the other side of the box

wow great. that works out good, as i just picked up some knu 8ga speaker wire. and bolting it with ring term. is a good idea. thanks very much.

Trim wires back about 1 1/2", twist together then wrap with electrical tape. Been doing subs with direct leads like that for years....

As for the box, bolts/ring terminals is the way to go
