What size SLOT PORT to use for a 12" RE SE??

Anywhere from about 25-35 in^2 of port area should be good for that sub. It should give you solid output and there shouldn't be any port noise.

Why don't you put up your max/desired dimensions and let somebody design one for you? That's your best bet as you seem to be all over the place with this.

What about length of the port?

So say I went about halfway there and did a port thats.....10x3? The flat area would be port area correct? What kind of length should I go with then?

Max dimensions?
Ummm. You mean of total box? I am not quite sure yet, have yet to really go all the way through with planning since I do school 8-3:50 and work 4-10.... but I plan on really measuring it out tomorrow...I dont want to go any more than 24" wide with the box, but its in an xtra cab 01 tacoma....so there is plenty of room for depth, at least 14 or 16" at the bottom, and it will be forward firing, probably have the port coming out the right side (box will be on passenger side of truck) or out of the top...but most likely the right side... btw I will be making this to ~1.8-1.9 feet^3 so I am not quite sure exactly how I want it shaped.
