what size screws?

what type of screws do you all use to mount your subs in 3/4 inch mdf? my sealed box i used the same 1 5/16 drywall screws i used to build the box. can going all the way through the wood there cause airleaks? use shorter screws?

depends on the thickness of the baffel but for 3/4"

1 1/4" #8 Robertson deck screws

are deck screws the kind with only half of the screw with threads and the top is bare like a nail?

i have some flooring screws like that for putting down plywood floors
