What size port????

Guys i just built a 1 cu/ft sealed box for my Alpine Type R 12". More likely im going to keep it sealed but how would this sub work if i added a port.(Im kinda new to all this) If so....

1. What diameter port?

2. How long of a port?

3. Where would the post be placed?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS

If you want to port it, build a new box. Its going to suffer with less than a cubic foot. I've heard 1.8ft^3 up to 2.2ft^3 for them. Look for like a 6"diameter round one or a 2 inch wide slot one. Length would depend on tuning and box size.

Aggree, a sub would sound wrong in a 1cuft ported, u couldnt reallly tune it either
