What size components fit in 96 mustang vert?

*I DONT WANT TO MOD ANYTHING PREFERABLY*

I have a 96 convertible mustang, and im looking to replace my front door speakers with a component front stage, yet I don't know which size to use.

I don't want to have to mod anything, and my stock speakers are 6x8s.

I know I can use like alpine 6x8 components, but I went to crutchfield and they said I can use 5 1/4" components too? Does anyone know if they would fit in my stock speaker locations without any mod?
