What size box for a Fi Q 18"?

The Fi website says to build an enclosure 6-10 cubic feet. That is a pretty broad range. Anyone have any experience with this sub, and with different box sizes? I am looking into purchasing one down in the next month or two, and i would like to know what size enclosure allows the sub to perform at its best. Thanks!

Also, if you feel like it, throw out some ideas about tuning. I am thinking around 34hz, but feel free to give some feedback! thanks....!

mines in 9.3 cubes tuned to 28 and gets crazy low and loud...just puttin in my .2

ok thanks for the input. i was thinking 9 cubes before port, driver and bracing displacement. that would equal about 8.5 cubes, and tuning to 30-32. thanks again.

the sub and port and bracing would only take up half a cube?

Thanks for catching that Springy...that was a mis-type on my part. I meant that the bracing and all would take about 1-1.5 cubic feet out of the equation. meaning if i built an enclosure @ 9 cf before all displacement, it would come out to around 7.5-8 cf after displacement of sub, port, bracing etc. I don't know what i was thinking when i typed that.
