What size and type of screws should i buy?

i am building an enclosure using 3/4" mdf, whats the best size of screw to use?
NONE!

Go search the enclosure section. Before this goes 8 pages: with straight cuts and WOOD GLUE, you don't NEED screws.

Liquid Nails IS NOT wood glue, gorilla glue is for repairs of real wood.

Titebond or Elmer's wood GLUE works best. Use clamps and a good saw.

Caulk after the box is done along the seams IF you have leaks, or just want to.

I've built plenty of boxes, NOT ONE has screws. There is the WickedOne, but it has screws to hold the unglue-able lid on.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

i dont rememer the last time i used screws either. inch and a half brad nails and wood glue is so much easier and faster. The last time we used screws it was like 4 and it was because the nails couldnt get in there.

It's alot easier with screws, yes. If you have huge clampos and alot of them, you can get away with not using screws, still alot easier with screws.

I used real real thin handypanel wood for my sealed box, and fiberglassed the outer layers. I actually had to use tiny tiny nails from an old picture hanging tool kit, because the smallest nails I found at Home Depot, split the wood.

Small nails would probably help. Some people drill a hole first though, right ?
