I will be getting a 2000 toyota solara tuesday i believe. I will run a single PA1800db and single alpine mrd-f250. I believe the alpine has 2x15a fuses and the PA has 3x30a fuses. I will do the big three and hopfully that helps a bunch, but what would be a nice size alternator if the factory doesnt quiet hold up? Should i do the big 3 and then a new battery and then alternator or do i get the alternator before a new battery? I guess it doesnt matter what order i do it i am just excited about having a car that i can actually have a nice sound system in.
The current car is an 89' olds cutlass calais with stock electrical and i have horrible voltage drops. It isnt worth doing anything to especially since i will be getting a new ride hopefully tomorrow.
I plan on doing 10% tint all the way around and black paint for sure... Then possibly some 18" rims. Inside i will deaden the doors and put my CDT comps (in sig.) in the door, tweeter in the stock location. Then i plan on building a custom ported box to fire both the sub and port into he cabin through the middle of the back seat with a false wall on the other side showing/protecting my amps. I will try to take pictures of it all and if i forget i will just post up the finished product.
