what pair of 10"?

Im thinking of doing a pair of 10" set up. I want something that'll do good in small enclosure ported that can get really loud. I've had a pair of 3510 and a 9512. They both get loud. I got about 2000-2400 rms @1ohm to do it. I got a couple of subs in mind. I was thinking of jl w7 but thats too much power but i hear they sound good. Even though im not a jl fan for their prices. What do you guys think of these subs or any other suggestions. They're the same price the namesles subs i can get cheaper cuz i can have them picked up.

sackett is a stand up guy so i would not discourage you from buying his stuff

but JL & DD is a strange comparison

JL = Commercial Product for the masses marketed as high end

DD= non-commercial and is very high end

My friend had the jl. I loved my DD's. I want to get loud like the 9512 did. Both of these subs are about 450 so I would say thats my budget for a pair of good 10s. I can do 2.5 per pair as far as box size. Itll be going in a hatchback fox style mustang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif they get loud easily.

if ur just looking for cheaper than dub 7's i would say....

its strange that you wanna switch it up.. sound like the 3510's were a solid choice with the power you have... I don't think its going to get much louder unless you switch sizes

If you get a little more power, try out a pair of HDC3's since theyre on sale

I sold the 3500 to move up to the 9500 series. I changed cars and would only fit 1 in the hatch area. Thats why i wanna try 10's. I can probably fit 2 10's in the area where a box for 1 12 would go.

How are the orions on music. On their site it says about spl. The HDC3 are only 240 brand new. Are these better than the wmd2? What about enclosure size for the HDC3?

Im getting rid of the 9512 I wanted to try maybe 2 10s. I think 9510 will be more pricey than any of these subwoofers mentioned above. I do love my 9512's though,but theyre really power hungry

I know I'll get flamed, but w7s are really ****ing good if you don't have a ton of whats..

If you can fit it (pretty sure you can..) you can get a 13w7 and thats the best of both worlds
