What now- Need Help

I just installed the Sundown SAE 50.4 bridged @ 4 ohms to a pair of Crescendo Mezzo 6.5 components. Cross over set at 80hz, gain on amp a little over half. I never turn the radio up past 32 on my 4800. I usually listen under 25... I never heard any distortion or issues then all of a sudden the tweeters quit working yesterday...

The power ratings state they're 150w rms, Was that for each or is it 75w rms each!?

Trying to figure out what went wrong and how to not have this issue again.

Are you using the passive xovers that came with the set? Had a pair of Powerbass and Cdt comps that had tweeter protection on the passives. would cut the tweeter off at high volumes. But, they came back on when turning the volume down.

Check your connections, could be something that simple

Yes I am. These just dont work at all right now, yeah I'll check it out later tonight and see.

well they're toast..don't really understand how. They received rated power from my understanding and weren't abused. Needing some expert advice on what Happened, what to buy now, and how to prevent this...
