dude......y? but anyways, the type r's ive hear people say they are good but their sensitivity, which is spl, is rated lower than my duals, which are at 89.9 db's and i think they are around 85. everyone is telling me to get an re sx. where can i get one, and are they really that good. i see a pic of one and it looks like it has a foam surround... which is bad

cuz i had to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and you're right; the duals are rated with a higher spl so the duals get louder than the type-R so no point in getting the Type-R if what you want is loudness and we know the duals are rated higher so itd be a waste of time and money going with the type Rs.

if you are not trying to spend much cash and odnt have a job make a ported box wiht one of moes plans or get someone on here to help you. it will increase spl greatly and sound better the n that bandpass. and also, you dont knwo what you are talking about the type r will get louder then those duels no one here knows what they are talking about though. oh yea the sx sucks because of its surround //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the type r and sx are both proven subs trust what these people are telling you they know more then you and i combined times 3

myself i feel a good signal form the headunit is a part of good sound so a low end deck would be replaced is i wanted, mind blowing sound as you put it

They're (both the type-r and the SX) a HELL of alot better than those two contraptions your currently running...

my friend has a type r in a small sealed box with a hifonics 1206d and the thing is loud, couldnt imagine it in a ported should sound real nice.

get used to it, you will replace all of your current things soon, the stuff you buy when you are a noob in any hobby always gets replaced within the first year its just how it goes

im sorry but a statement like you stated about the loudness you want you cant just those a lowball price out and expect what you want.

Honestly unless you catch some deals stay away form crutchfield, shop around
