What NEW amp for 5k watts?

Well I traced the problem back to my headunit, so i know my amp is fine. Being the nice guy that I am, i'm going to sell my Fusion 4000D to my friend so he can have a pair of them.

So now i'm looking to buy a NEW amp to put out between 4-5k. It will be powering a pair of lvl4 XL 10's. Preferably strappable, because i may be getting another pair after the summer //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So far the number one on my list has got to be a 40.1, followed by the RD 5750.1.

I was considering a Cactus Sounds 5k, but holy lord those things are expensive. I still can't get a firm price on a brand new one.

i have pics in the second post, its pretty good IMO, the aluminum face plate that has the Cactus logo has some scuffs above the "Sounds" part, you can see them in the pic. but i never had a problem showing it off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm in the middle of piecing together a blowthrough in my ranger as well. You're going to love those lv4xl's. I think a 40.1 would be a good match for a pair.

Depending on how much your looking to spend there's the American Bass 500.1, SoundStream XXX-6500, Incriminator Audio 40.1, MA Audio HK4000D (same board as your fusion 4000D I believe) and there are a few others.

edit: i guess my friend isn't as confident in buying my amp, so i will trade it plus cash for something else.
