Home insulation?

yep. I wanted to, i still have it down in the basement. But I don't have enough room in my doors to accommodate it along with the power window gear. You have great doors to work with, though. I'd just worry about sealing them up and deadening for now. You'll get great results just doing that.

Head unit with active crossover + time delay. 30 band EQ (probably separate), then care in component location and deadening/treatment of locations

Don't really think I need a 30 band EQ. If I got the 80prs I would use auto eq & ta. I dont think my speakers and amps are worthy of a 30 band eq haha.

Only problem is that I cant deaden the inside of the metal door very well because, well, there ARE no holes in my door. So I was thinking that packing some type of material in there would keep the sound from traveling too far and bouncing off everything back inside there. BUUTTT..... I dont know if I can because I think that might be where the window is when it's down, so that means the first time I roll my window down all the insulation I packed around there would get shoved to the bottom of the door, never to be seen again, getting all rotten, soggy, and moldy.

I have no polyfil in my doors, nor was I able to take advantage of the fiberglass that i wanted to use...

Should the polyfill or insulation go around where the magnet is? Or should it be up closer to the backside of the cone?

Lol, seriously man... you don't need polyfill. Concentrate on the sealing and deadening. That's where you'll get an audible difference. Not polyfil.

If you do decide to use bagged 'glass, it goes in thin plastic bags, taped to the back of your door, out of the way of the window.

In a way it depends on if you know and understand how to take advantage of more EQ bands. If you look at the frequency response with an RTA it's a pretty ugly picture. If you have a smartphone even a free RTA app is better than none at all. You'll want to get a pink noise track at the same time.
