Kingdom of Heaven has an amazing soundtrack.

I also own the first two Lord of the Rings soundtracks, which are great as well. I have the soundtracks to "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg," and "Les Demoiselles de Rochefort," but no one here will like those rofl.

This sounds stupid, but The Neverending Story soundtrack had mad low notes in some of the music from the movie. The Pet Shop Boy's did like most of it....was sorta ahead of its time considering it was done in 1984 and techno didnt get big until the mid 90's.

Pretty much any of the Final Fantasy soundtracks are good. They can get kind of expensive though.

Check the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. It has a classical feel and also some very dynamic bass lines extending well into the 20-30hz regions.

It's a badass CD.

I also like the K-Pax and Gladiator soundtracks. K-Pax is more of an electronic style but it's very relaxing.

So you did. Sorry, brainfart. Danny Elfman had a disc called "Music for a darkened theatre" that was a compilation of his stuff. Might be worth looking at.
