What main battery are you running and why?

Actually Interstate batteries are manufactured by Exide
From what I was told / the manager of the Indianapolis Interstate most of interstates batteries come from Johnson Controls a few of the higher-end agm's come from enersys like the AGM 31-7 for example, about a $350 battery that doesn't mean that some of their batteries don't come from exide but he definitely said most of them come from Johnson Controls

Actually Interstate batteries are manufactured by Exide, Duracell is made by Procter & Gamble
Procter and gamble were the previous owners of duracell, but it is now owned by berkshire hathaway which uses deka/eastpenn as a manufacturer.

Johnson controls is the main manufacturer, but exide is also one as are many more private manufacturers that deal with small engine batteries.
Johnson controls manufactures all batteries sold by sams club.
