You have it wired to four ohms. The two sets of terminals on the amp are to make it easier to hook up to subs to the amp. The terminals are internally wired in parallel.
You have the coils of each sub wired in series for an 8 ohm load per sub. You then have the subs wired in parallel for a final load of 4 ohms. /story
this is how i have them wired, except they are in separate enclosures....so i dont have the pos of one sub to the pos of the other.....so i already have them at 4 ohms?
no, you had them wired seperately in series, dual 4 ohm in series = 8 ohms each. now you have them wired together at 8 ohms each, 2 8 ohm subs = 4 ohms now. just trust me its the same thing as that wiring diagram bonesninja posted
so wtf do i do from here??? what u said acknowledged another persons statement but told me nothing about what i do from here.....do i leave it or bridge it?
i have the same question but mine is a directed 1500d amp thats one channel. and terminals are internelly run in paralle i belive so what ohm would i be getting same question different amp
and wouldent this be technically wrong second down on the left? because its internally all the terminals are hooked together so they could use all of the terminals instead of just the 2 they are using and it would be easier to hook up and it would be a 1 ohm load correct?
