mcd1000 is closer to 1200wrms then it is to 1000. it's got a smaller footprint, more efficient design, and a selectable subsonic filter. If anyone has experience with PRD1000.1 & MCD1000 how would they be rated?
the shp is the old mojo, before they went to the modular motors.
in technical terms, you are correct. but for simplicity sake, the shp was the memphis superwoofer (not counting the lvs, which is a big POS), until the mojo came out. and the mojo motor isn't all that much bigger.Um, no.
The SHP is the SHP and the MOJO is the MOJO. The mojo had a non-cartridge cone when it came out. Then they went to field replaceable ones. also the mojo motor is much bigger.
Have you ever seen a bench sheet for them??mcd1000 is closer to 1200wrms then it is to 1000. it's got a smaller footprint, more efficient design, and a selectable subsonic filter.
the pr1000d is 1000 and no more. isn't quite as efficient, is larger, and it's subsonic is just on or off. you can't select the frequency.
both are great amps, both will get the job done. but if you have the extra money, the mc is the one to get.
